  • Develop and implement technical strategies for various validated/qualified laboratory computer systems with an emphasis on global enterprise systems.
  • Develop and administer system procedures for installation, monitoring, performance utilization, upgrades, backups, recovery, and overall operations in a validated environment.
  • Prepare documentation and training to support IT and related processes.
    Provide guidance and consultation in technical matters such as network integration, hardware selection, and system configuration.
  • Support new application and system deployment projects with an emphasis on the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Attend project meetings and work closely with project manager, QA, and business team members to ensure project tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Guide technical resources to build the underlying infrastructure for Watson LIMS.
  • Desired minimum 5-years of experience in Information Technology field.
  • Desired minimum 2-years of experience in current good manufacturing practice biopharmaceutical production setting (process development and/or manufacturing technical support).
Experience in supporting and maintaining scientific systems, example systems include:
  • Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) [Watson] Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) Software [IDBS]
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop, Windows server, Citrix and/or Linux server environments. MCSA/MCSE preferable but not required.
  • ​Database server experience preferred [e.g., SQL Server, Oracle] Experience maintaining web application servers is a plus (e.g., IIS, Apache, Nginx, Node).
  • Experience with supporting systems in a GxP/Validated environment.
  • Experience working on projects collaborating with multiple team members while taking direction from a project manager.
  • A strong communicator who can speak effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to prioritize and deliver results with a high emphasis on quality, technical rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Able to integrate feedback in a professional manner and thrives in multidisciplinary teams with members with highly diverse backgrounds.
