Manufacturing Technician
Shift - 1st shift starting at 7 and ending at 3:30 with an unpaid lunch. Responsibilities: Key responsibilities/essential functions include: Primary: • Work with internal software, optimizing configurations and developing new set ups to work with existing and new processes • Troubleshoot existing data work flow and correct errors, using existing documentation practices • Work with off-shore teams to facilitate necessary changes Secondary: • Set up new or modify existing operator PCs • Troubleshoot networking and PC related issues for production equipment • Set up and troubleshoot commercial and custom software • Assist with internal software validation and/or collection of software requirements Tertiary: • Assist with troubleshooting of production equipment • Assist with layout of production line or placement of IT equipment • Assist or complete custom software changes Required Qualifications: 1. IT Associates degree, or better, and 1-5 years technical experience, or a High School Diploma and 4-7 years' experience. 2. Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information 3. Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information , or independently based on past priorities 4. Demonstrated ongoing effort to maintain knowledge of current technology 5. Ability to communicate using English (or local language) 6. Demonstrated technical leadership ability Desired Qualifications: 1. Networking experience, particularly working in a corporate environment 2. Windows and Linux experience (install/clone OS, install new features, set up for specific tasks) 3. Ability to work on remote systems using command line/terminal 4. Software development experience (Java, .Net, Python, Javascript) 5. Knowledge of version control software (Git, Subversion) 6. Ability to work flexible hours | ||||||||||
