Work Location: 280 Restoration Way, Geddes, NY 13209
Must be Local - No Per Diem
Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident
WORK Hours: 6:45am to 5:00pm (NOT ALL DAYS)
WORK SCHEDULE: (see below)

WORK SCHEDULE:
Position will only apply Nitrate work (on-barge) 2-3 days per week. Typically on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
* M/W/Th Hours: 6:45a-5p
The other days (T/F) include filling the barge or moving the barge which is a half day; typically in the morning.
* Tues/Fri Hours: 7a-11am (approx) - May not be every week

Weather and lake conditions also affect this schedule as well.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Breath alcohol and 10 panel drug screening required within 2 weeks of start date; Background check, Fit-For-Duty (FFD) REQUIRED

Once candidate clears the drug screen, Parsons will coordinate/pay for the FFD exam.

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN III

OVERVIEW:
Environmental Field Technician for lake Nitrate injection project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Environmental field experience preferred
• Willingness to work in the field in adverse weather conditions in fast-paced environment, including working on barge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and good organizational skills.
• Conduct field documentation.
• Conduct all work in a safe manner and in accordance with project plans.
• Oversight of subcontractor activities.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree preferred and 1-3 years of related work experience preferred (i.e.,construction, environmental and/or geology background)

• Familiarity with safety and environmental rules/regulations is preferred.
