Job Description
Function: Must be able to set up and operate CNC lathes. Capable of holding tight tolerances associated with the machining of precision parts. Must be able to read blueprints and interpret written work instructions. Prior experience using multi-axis Lathes required.

Machines used at Client :
Okuma LT25 and Okuma LT15, 3 Axis
Control: Okuma
Essential job functions: Employee will work in a machine cell where he/she will be responsible for the operation of 1 or more machines at a time, depending on production needs. 

Employee must be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.
Required skills: Candidate must possess 3 years of Machinist experience (NOT SIMPLY MACHINE OPERATION). 
Must be comfortable setting-up and troubleshooting mechanical issues with CNC Machines. 
Must also be comfortable using various measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Dial Bore Gauges. 
Must be familiar with live tooling

Machines used at Client :
3-Axis Okuma LT25 and 3-Axis Okuma LT15
Controls: Okuma
Education: High School diploma or GED required. 
Machining trade a plus.

Positions is for 3rd shift. In some cases, the contractor will train on a different shift, but will then transfer once training is complete.

Candidates with NMTA training/certification preferred, but not required.
