Job Description:
Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks a Business Systems Consultant to act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of the most complex, strategic, corporate-wide business problems to be solved with automated systems.

Responsibilities include:
• Recognized as an expert and visionary in providing strategic business solutions to enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
• Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
• Applies knowledge of industry trends and technology to drive organizational change and position Wells Fargo for the future.
• Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. • Participates in transforming strategic enterprise architecture and design principles into specific system requirements and specifications.
• Recommends and initiates systems testing.
• Acts as the highest-level internal consultant within technology and business groups by re-engineering technical processes for greater efficiencies with significant impact to the business.
• Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff

• 10+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design.
• This project requires a candidate with strong critical thinking, consulting, and technical skills.
• Ideally someone that has experience with product categorizations in the financial industry.
• Analyze system of record data to develop and maintain categorization schemes rationalized with existing processes.
• Since most of our data warehouses are Teradata and most of the sandbox work my team does is in Unix these are very desirable skills as well.
• Understanding of marketing data systems and ideally experience building and leveraging one to:
• Create customer profiles that aggregate metrics such a how many account a customer has by type.
• Create campaign sizings, looking for customers that don not have targeted product.
• Perform campaign performance tracking connecting the products targeted to accounts opened.
• Candidate will need to work closely with business partners to understand their needs
