PLEASE NOTE:
-candidates must have a DoD security clearance (must be active on day 1 - so currently active or in the 2 year reinstatement period)
-must have a 4 year degree an in applicable STEM field
-could be 10% travel (domestic only)
-could be contract to hire for the right candidate
-position is ONSITE in RICHARDSON, TX

Candidates must have the following experience:
•At least 3 years of hands on coding in Java using industry standard Object Oriented design principles
•Experience developing applications on Red Hat Linux (RH7) operating systems or the equivalent
•Experience designing, configuring and developing complex system architectures using Virtual Machines (VMs), going beyond just setting up or doing application development on VMs
•Experience in all software lifecycle disciplines including design, implementation, and test
•Proficiency in industry standard IDE tools (such as Eclipse, Visual Studio or equivalents)
•Proficiency in industry standard configuration management tools (such as SVN, GIT, Clearquest/Clearcase or equivalents)

The following experience is desirable:
•Experience developing software for military applications and/or experience of working government programs
•Experience with build and test automation tools
•Experience developing on Windows Desktop/Windows Server operating systems
•Familiarity with Atlassian Software Development and Collaboration tools (such as JIRA, Confluence, JAMA, Bamboo)
•Experience with code analysis tools (such as Coverity or equivalents).
•Understanding of Network Management fundamentals
•Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, bash, etc.
