Incumbent provides support for all client Academic Development programs and will work with the Director to serve as a liaison to students, residents, faculty members and administration at the schools & colleges and professional education organizations.

Major Accountabilities:
  • Oversight of all Academic Development activities
  • Prepare Legal / Compliance documentation
    • Contracts (MCA) and Statement of Work (SOW) documents necessary for hiring ECPs to work on Alcon's behalf
    • AECE SOW / MCA management
    • ADP SOW / MCA management
    • Academic Partners sponsorship contracts
  • Provide oversight / troubleshoot travel & payment for Academic related matters
    • ADP travel / reimbursement
    • AECE travel / reimbursement
  • Administer Academic programs
    • Academic Partners sponsorship payments
    • Student Lens program management
    • Order Academic supplies / materials
  • Provide Meeting Management
    • Educators meeting execution in partnership with MEMS
    • AECE program execution in partnership with MEMS
  • Plan Academic Events
    • Scheduling Partners programs
    • Coordinating Alcon representation at Partners in Education programs
    • Scheduling ADPs visits / coordinating calendars
    • Scheduling Cornea & CL department faculty PVA
    • Scheduling CL Residents PVA
    • Scheduling Speaker Alliance events at Academic Institutions
  • Coordinate Data collection
    • Academic Institution Sales data
    • Externship / Preceptor Sales data
    • Other Academic Dashboard data
    • Process requests for Academic Resources
      • Academic Institution & Staple Program
      • Contact lens trials
      • OTC product samples
      • Patient literature from the LOC – Literature Ordering Center.
      • Coupons
      • Rebates
  • Serve as Backup for KOL engagement / payment process
Skills: 5+ Years experience working as a Coordinator or equivalent.
PC Skills including Microsoft Office suite and advanced Excel.
Significant experience working independently / multi-tasking.
Advanced interpersonal skill.

Preferred: Familiar with client Corporate Policies & Procedures.
Some project management experience.
Education: Associates Degree

Minimum Degree Required: Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
