Job Description: Client is currently hiring a Manufacturing Associate for a leader in the medical manufacturing industry located in Clearwater, FL.

Position Summary
Perform various operations in the fabrication of intraocular lenses according to production specifications and standards
• Performs various lens fabrication and inspections duties to include lens machining, lens polishing, finished production inspections and primary packaging
• Ensure product meets all acceptable criteria per SOP s
• Follow all FDA/CGMP regulations regarding traceability, and safety procedures
• Support, encourage and participate in team related activities; report ideas or suggestions to supervisor
• Assist in training manufacturing associates using prescribed training methods and tools as assigned by supervisor/management
• Report unusual conditions and problems to supervisor and manufacturing lead; practice good housekeeping

In addition to the listed duties, the associate is normally expected to perform other similar related duties as assigned. Other Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Performing job responsibilities to the best of an individual's abilities and at the required skill levels
• Knowing and observing B+L work/safety rules, policies and SOP's

Position Requirements
• High School diploma or General Education Degree GED required
• One or more years manufacturing related work experience; or equivalent combined of education and experience
• IOL manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of clean-rooms specific to proper clean-room behavior preferred (NOT REQUIRED)

Required Testing

Candidates must be scheduled for a testing session (per the usual process) on the following days:

Monday, April 23rd at 9:30AM
Tuesday, April 24th at 3:00PM
Friday, April 27th at 10:00AM

All resumes for the testing sessions need to be shared on a calendar invite (for one of the above testing sesssions) with Tiffany Lemanski and Christina Mead. If the resumes are not attached to the calendar invite, Christina will not know that they are coming.
