Position : Software Developer
Location: Robins AFB, GA

Duties: Develop, program and implement applications and data sources using common development tools, languages for software solutions traversing the government network. Conduct software development and modifications in accordance with the government's system and software support practices. Develop and analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; develop architecture and design of software components; and develop, debug, and test product features. Provide architecture, design, and unit test documentation artifacts and work collaboratively with AIT team personnel (Developers, Testers, Information Assurance, technical support, etc.) to optimize product quality. Support up to 10% travel to provide on-site AIT program support. Support and work towards at least CMMI Level II for the program. Support the agile development process. Assist with configuration control, documentation, testing and integration processes. Provide assistance to customers as required and other duties as assigned to optimize system performance and program support.

Required Skills/Certifications:

- Proficiency with C/C++, Java, Python, or BASH languages
- Proficiency with Web application development using HTML/CSS/JS, PHP, RESTful interfaces, or similar technologies
- Working knowledge of Linux, Microsoft SQL, and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with Defense Information Infrastructure (DII) Common Operating Environment (COE) DII-COE, Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC), Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC)
- Ability to work with COTS and/or GOTS software
- Knowledge of Network and Server Management protocols such as SNMP, SMTP, TCP/IP
- DoD SECRET Security Clearance
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 accredited professional certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+ Certification)
