Conventional Grind Machinist

Capable of holding tight tolerances associated with the machining of precision parts. Must be able to read blueprints and interrupt written work instructions. Prior experience using multi-axis CNC Mills or Lathes required ie.)Okumas.
Essential job functions: Empoyee will work in a machine cell where he/she will be responsible for the operation of 1 or more machnies at a time, depending on production needs. Employee must be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.
Required skills: Candidate must possess 3 years of Machinist experience (NOT SIMPLY MACHINE OPERATION). Must be comfortable setting-up and troubleshooting mechanical issues with CNC Machines. Must also be comfortable using various measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Dial Bore Gauges.
Education: High School diploma or GED required. Machining trade a plus.
Other Requirements
***MANAGER prefers someone with precision grind experience who is comfortable working with Geometric Tolerances (GD&T) and extreme close tolerances, typically .001 +/- .0005.
