Job Description
Primary assignment and associated responsibilities will include:
-Coordination of hardware qualification testing for a variety of avionics control panels, mission computers, and avionics processing cabinets to MIL-STD-810 environmental and MIL-STD-461 EMI standards.
-Verifying that test unit and supporting test equipment necessary to operate unit are working properly together prior to starting test.
-Perform troubleshooting and corrective action implementation to repair or update support test equipment to ensure proper operation during test.
-Work in a positive and effective manner in a team environment with test technicians, bargaining unit operators, and environmental effects engineers.
-Support completion of qualification testing reports and reviewing report documentation after finish of testing.

Required Experience:
-STEM degree with preference for Systems or Electrical Engineering major
-Experience coordinating MIL-STD-810 Environmental and MIL-STD-461 EMI qualification test activities
-Experience with RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553 interfaces
-US Citizen or Permanent Resident citizenship status

Preferred Experience:
-Experience working with LabView or similar test software applications used for interfacing with COTS test equipment
-3-5+ years of experience with product design, integration, and testing of products used in military avionics applications
