Required Skills:
- Knows SourceFire and/or FirePower

The focus is on networking, routing, switching and Security. Specific experience would be: ASA, ASAv, IPS, FirePower and/or Sourcefire. And, we are looking for candidates who have network planning, implementations, configurations, troubleshooting and testing experience.

Required Skills:
- Knows SourceFire and/or FirePower
--Security - General knowledge of troubleshooting Security across Cisco platforms.
--minimum 2 years of Networking experience
--minimum 2 years working knowledge of Networking industry, products and protocols

Desired Skills:
--Ability to configure, analyze and troubleshoot highly complex networks.
--Proven crisis management skills, and the ability to excel under pressure.
--Works on complex problems where analysis of situations requires in-depth evaluation of factors.
--Strong Layer 3 knowledge as this position will primarily focus on supporting Cisco's Routing platforms.
--Knowledge of routing system architecture and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex routing, switching and forwarding issues.
--Strong documentation skills--to be utilized for case management, knowledge capture, defect management and Trainings.
--Excellent verbal communication skills--these skills are essential for this engineering role as most of the work being done is through the phone.
--Very strong Problem Solving skills--
--Ability to drive recreates remotely--Many issues result in the engineer needing to perform a recreate of the customer problem in order to isolate the issue and resolve.
--Extensive Customer Service skills and experience.
--Candidate must be CCNP or equivalent in one of these technologies: Security --Experience in more than one of the four is a plus.
--Candidate must demonstrate strong collaboration skills and be effective in working within a team environment. Knowledge sharing amongst the team members is paramount.
Schedule:
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule
- After hours/Weekend on-call rotation is a requirement for this position
