IT Technicians. ($25/Hour)

Work with our team to provide Tier 2 desk side services performing installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting on VA personal desktop computer. Candidate must be proficient in Windows and Macintosh operating systems, laptops and peripherals such as printers, monitors, and scanners. Candidate should be proficient in multiple iterations of software used within the federal environment including, but not limited to, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and some Active Directory functions such as drive mappings, managing network groups and account and file server permissions. Environment has over 8500 federal employees across several campuses. Issues will be low to mid-level.
40hrs/week – Employee must be on site.
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification *required*
  • Apple Certified Desktop Technician (ACDT) certification *desired*
  • Experience with Computer Associates Unicenter Service Desk *desired*
