This position is responsible for supporting the product roadmap and strategy for Client's Enterprise Voice Connectivity portfolio and deliver new products and services targeted to client's enterprise and mid-market customers. The Product Development Manager will lead the development effort and engage cross functionally with Engineering, Operations, Customer Care, IT and external vendors. Assist with writing the business specification document, which define the technical and functional requirements from which the systems will be built to support a new product initiative. The Product Development Manager will work closely with the Operational Readiness Team to insure test cases capture the changes driven through the development process. They will also work closely with the Web team and perform web portal product acceptance testing. The role is responsible to work cross functionally to ensure all support teams are ready to support market launches on time, including reviewing content of all training material, sales and operational notices, web site and web portal updates.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to deliver a comprehensive, best-in-class customer experience and product portfolio that satisfies the current and future needs of our enterprise customers.
Support the development activity associated with the client's Enterprise Voice Connectivity roadmap.
Evaluate, interpret, and provide strategic direction for new product services, features and functionality across the voice connectivity portfolio and deliver a seamless customer experience.
Familiar with the agile framework, working methodology as well as industry best practices in product development, specific to the Cable or telecommunications space.
Manage the Product Development Lifecycle, including:
• Assist in the business requirement documentation and oversee the end to end functional requirements to ensure they cover the product requirements.
• Write user stories and test cases when needed
• Oversee and project manage the development team's effort
• Certify products that are developed prior to release
• Operate product trials when appropriate
• Manage the launch acitivites including: cross functional training content review, sale and operations notices, Product guide and web site updates
Build and manage strong working relationships with the cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, UX, Customer Care, Sales, Sales Support and external vendors needed to drive an efficient development effort for new enterprise voice initiatives.
Ensures communication with all stakeholders is being managed effectively.
Manage priorities and scope for release planning
Manage the cost charged against the project.

Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
Experience in Cable, Telecommunications
Business-to-business experience preferred
BA/BS Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
