SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Seeking an experienced Software Development Manager with a background in .NET/SQL to join a global professional service organization.  The Software Development Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing all aspects of development platform. The ideal candidate will remain hands-on as well as lead and direct the activities of development engineers, QA engineers to meet company objectives for design, programming & testing, delivery and production support of the company's eDiscovery products and works closely with the Infrastructure, Product, and PMO teams. The Development Manager is also responsible for integration of eDiscovery software with analytical and processing tools. Key metrics include on time delivery, quality, responsiveness and efficiency improvements. Strong design and architecture skills are required.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct, supervise, mentor and develop staff to deliver operational results that meet and exceed planned expectations.
Demonstrate strong leadership through training and coaching to drive excellence
Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis. Plans documentation system.
Selects correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new development initiatives or improvement for existing ones.
Working with the data operations and infrastructure teams, reviews and monitors quality and process improvements.
Directs appropriate support for data operations and quality functions within the organization.
Conceive, plan and implement continuous improvement / continuous integration activities.
Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved internal and external working relationships
Drive process corrective actions and solutions
Lead implementation of and manage systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
 
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years progressive work experience including supervision of software development staff with multiple disciplines required
Excellent working knowledge in C#, ASP.Net, Python, github, and SQL Server - experience with .Net Development including agile software development lifecycle required.
Must have a good architecture and design skills. Strong technical knowledge in .Net technologies and SQL Server is required.
eDiscovery environment experience with background in Nuix / Relativity and/or other eDiscovery platforms is a plus.
Experience in working with remote teams is required.
Experience in developing AI, machine learning products is a plus.
Experience in searching technologies like DT Search or Elastic search is a plus.
Strong ability to manage and mobilize cross functional teams through operational changes in process, environment and resources
Demonstrated knowledge and daily management of eDiscovery review platform Software support and maintenance.
High level of analytical ability to solve complex problems

Ability to present organized and thorough information and data, appropriate for intended audience
