What You'll Do:
  • Performs software management activities including establishment, maintenance and support of application lifecycle management systems and other third party applications used in support of application development.
  • Project management related to these activities.
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents issues with application lifecycle management systems and other third party applications used in support of application development to determine root causes.
  • Works with peers and vendors as needed to implement fixes and resolve issues.
  • Works with other technology service providers to plan, schedule, and test infrastructure updates that affect supported applications.
  • Collaborates with team members to develop and implement processes and procedures for application lifecycle management tools and other third party applications used in support of application development, and is responsible for keeping documentation current.
  • Directly supports software development teams for application lifecycle management tool needs, and instructs end users in the use of application lifecycle management tools and processes.

Skills/Experience You'll Need:
  • 3+ years of experience serving as an application lifecycle management systems administrator.
  • Demonstrated experience with installing, configuring and supporting tools used for application development like Subversion, Git, JIRA, Nexus etc.
  • Experience with working on both Windows and Linux server environments and demonstrated use of basic Linux commands for managing applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and/or edit maintenance scripts for automating tasks in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity and experience with SQL and database concepts.
  • Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage large projects and upgrades and perform necessary communication and coordination to management, end users and developer community.
  • Ability to use appropriate analysis, judgment, and logic when solving problems and making decisions.
  • Strong active listening, written and verbal communication skills.
