Duties & Responsibilities
  • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot corporate desktops/laptops, network and local multi-function printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
  • Resolve hardware and software problems and coordinate the resolution of more complex issues
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and IP issues
  • Remote access configuration/support
  • Server and desktop endpoint and anti-virus monitoring
  • Maintain desktop/laptop backup and imaging software
  • Maintain WSUS and desktop patching
  • AV conference room and office support
  • Avaya phone setup/support
  • Respond to and log all helpdesk support calls
  • Support and train administrative staff on new and emerging business software
  • Deploy company-standard software such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Geneva, and MAS2014
  • Assist with general office-administrative duties, as well as IT equipment inventory of desktops, servers, and mobile devices

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware, software, and network printers.
  • Proficient in Windows 7, MS Office 365/2007 2013, Acrobat Adobe, SharePoint, iOS, Android.
  • Working knowledge of Acronis, Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, and Windows Server 2008/2012.
  • Knowledge of legal software packages such as Worldox, Workshare, and Innova are recommended.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage time efficiently with the ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, responsiveness, and strong desire to learn.
  • Must have a solid technical background, good oral and written communication skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, to meet changing deadlines and shifting priorities as well as work weekends and stay late if necessary, and have the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
  • Must be able to travel to Westchester office one a month
  • Must be open to working off hours on a rotational schedule

Credentials and Experience
  • 2 to 5 years of supporting desktop software and hardware in a finance, hedge fund, or legal environment.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or certifications from a technical institute.
