Position Summary
Seeking an IT Project Manager  for a position within their Information Technology department.  This position will report to the IT Director.  The IT Project Manager  will be responsible for providing the project management, leadership and skills to optimize/maximize efficiencies by undertaking projects that will improve business and operational processes; integrate Enterprise Systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP, WorkWise WW-ERP, xTuple) in the business processes; drive the change management process around the integration; and improve the availability and accuracy of data and reporting.  Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Workwise WW-ERP or xTuple is preferred to fulfill the requirements of this position. 
 
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
  • Work with Business Unit(s), management staff and IT resources to create and manage project schedules and budgets for integration of Enterprise Systems within the organization, including: planning, training, appropriations, etc.
  • Lead the cross-functional team to more functional utilization of the Enterprise System and document the key business processes.
  • Facilitate training of key Business Unit staff to develop super users of the Enterprise System software and its functionality.
  • Serve as the key liaison between assigned sites, super users, functional experts, and the business IT leaders to identify and implement business process improvement and optimization projects.
  • Work with the Business Unit, management staff and IT resources to prepare capital appropriation requests as required and lead them to closure.
  • Provide periodic status updates to all key stakeholders.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Enterprise System support-related activities.
  • Facilitate communication with the Enterprise System partners for training, process improvements and other activities.
  • Work with management and executive staff including IT Director and Business Unit leadership in planning initiatives.
  • Work with the Business Unit to gather requirements for projects to insure that business process requirements are met and conform to global design model standards.
  • Provide functional assistance to sites where capable and/or request additional support when needed.
  • Ensure IT project and program management processes are followed in deploying projects.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Will require consistent travel to Wisconsin, Texas and Illinois locations. (30%)
To be successful in this position you will need:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • BS degree in Information Systems or technical field or related experience with Enterprise Systems or business processes required.
  • Cross-functional and change management experience including demonstrated experience leading cross functional projects, particularly driven by the introduction of new technology.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact well at all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with business / functional stakeholders; and an ability to represent systems value in a business setting.
  • Ability to remove performance barriers and deliver under challenging circumstances.
  • 2 – 4 years related experience in small/medium manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 2 – 4 year of program/project management experience.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and accelerate a change effort within the organization.
Team player.Ability to work with team members across the IT organization.
  • Versed in Microsoft toolset; Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project.
