Do you want the SECURITY of a strong, profitable, reputable corporation, but yet want to JOIN A BRAND NEW TEAM IN HOUSTON (and brand new to the company as a whole)???
Then you need to read on, and better yet, reach out to ICS to explore this position.
The Hiring Manager for this team is a veteran of the company, and he is starting this team in Houston (he's a Houston vet as well!) and he is AMAZING to work for - this is coming from his employees that we have placed there, not just us talking here.
Currently looking for two SOLID developers to help get this team off the ground.  In a perfect world he will find full stack developers, but in a time where most consider themselves "full stack" he more importantly wants to find the RIGHT FIT.  Someone who will walk into work each day (flex hours btw) and bring Passion, bring a Purpose and just be overall invested.
If you're remotely interested in looking around the market, I encourage you to give us a call because if you fit the mold above, and have the technical skillset below, I can promise you it's a position worth checking out.

* Develop, test and deploy good-quality code in a variety of programming environments.
* Work closely with business users to understand and implement their system requirements.
* Follow a DevOps attitude using an Agile Development approach. Emphasis on automation - for all aspects of testing, release and managing the production environment.
* Own the critical response to platform incidents.
We'd like you to bring:
*  Solid Core Java application development experience, working with services-oriented architecture
* Proficiency in JavaScript/AngularJS
* Knowledge or desire of learning functional programming, specifically Scala
* Experience of Python / C++ / Reactive Programming frameworks very beneficial
* Strong Computer Science background
* Ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively with business and technical stakeholders
