DIRECTOR ENTERPRISE ANALYTICS           
Seeking an experienced Director of Enterprise Analytics for a global organization.  The Director of Enterprise Analytics will be responsible for managing the collection and analysis of enterprise data to inform and guide strategic business decisions and improve efficiencies in our processes.  The ideal Director of Enterprise Analytics will have a strong focus on analytics/data analysis who can meet with department heads, gather information, understand their problems, create dashboards, present the analysis and then helps create strategies/roadmaps to fix the issues.  Experience building a team is required.  Excellent communication skills are required.
 
Responsibilities:
Develop strategies and approaches to advance enterprise data analytics systems from descriptive and predictive to prescriptive capabilities
Partner with key business function leaders to create the enterprise business intelligence program and implement BI roadmap that will Inform the organization's strategic and operational goals
Develop and manage standardized reporting and scorecards for key business areas to allow for effective monitoring of performance.
Partner with senior leaders across organization to understand business goals, consult on data strategies and produce repeatable, data-driven outcomes
Build and grow a team of data engineers, analysts and scientists to enable the transition to a data-driven enterprise
Oversee the ongoing development and operations of the BI tools and deliver and educate through change management
Empower business users by providing guidance and support on self-service reporting and ad hoc analysis capabilities
Partner with IT leaders to ensure consistent data availability, data quality and data accessibility
 
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, statistics or related quantitative field required;
Master's Degree preferred.
7+ years of experience within the business intelligence and analytics field in retail, consumer goods, business consulting or relevant industries
3+ years of progressive experience as a people leader coaching senior professionals through corrective action, development and influencing without authority.
Experience of managing data visualization and democratization tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy, looker, Domo, Cloud data platforms (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) or equivalent
Experience of developing and managing external vendors in data management technology and big data analytics space
Extensive working experience and knowledge in retail analytics and strategy analysis, including retail channel operation, merchandising and assortments, supply chain, customer and market analysis, etc.
Experience managing data visualization and democratization tools, as consistent source of truth, and evangelizing adoption across the organization.
Demonstrated thought leadership and provided strategic guidance on emerging technologies to innovate and ensure the function is well position in the marketplace.
Demonstrated collaboration, communication and storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple way as well as adapt and connect across a variety of audiences
Demonstrated ability and desire to successfully lead, influence and inspire cross-functional stakeholders as well as external partners.
Demonstrated ability to successfully guide and move forward multiple projects at one time.
Record of continuous advancement and increased progressive responsibilities, preferably within a retail analytics environment.
Hands-on leader who can develop high performing teams to meet the needs of a fast paced and growing company.
