Our client is looking for a junior- to intermediate-level PM for this role
• Comfortable working with Product Managers, Scrum teams, Developers and Designers
• Experience working on customer-facing web sites
• Ideal candidate would have some Digital Agency experience 

Project Manager assists the Senior Project Manager to plan, coordinate and manage specific projects for the designated business area. The Associate Project Manager interfaces with Product Managers, Senior Project Manager, Business Analysts, Developers, QA and others to actively assist in leading assigned projects from start to finish. Core responsibilities include project planning, schedule management, status reporting, meeting minutes, actuals tracking, roll out and formalized project closure.


Essential Responsibilities
  • Define project high level scope, establish stakeholders, considering financial, resource, and technological constraints; develops cost estimates with consideration to business impacts and risks.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Architects, subject matter experts and other IT members to confirm the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Collect technical documentation, deployment plan, production support plan.
  • Interface between IT and business units and/or vendors.
  • Provide project status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Assist with creation of and track cost associated with business cases.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal/external customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver functional requirements and Use Case documentation in partnership with Product Manager and Business Analyst
  • Manage changes, risks, scope, cost, quality, communications, time, and procurement.
  • Collect formal acceptance, evaluate established success criteria to determine success. Close cost accounts and contracts.
  • Ensure that company IT and business standards and procedures are maintained in accordance with Company policies, audits, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years' experience managing projects
  • Knowledge of industry standards in project management and development methodologies (i.e. PMBOK, MSF, SEI, Agile Methods, RUP, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Project, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Word and Visio
  • Knowledge of technology fundamentals and concepts (Microsoft technologies preferred)
  • Knowledge of IT disciplines and interdependencies
  • Knowledge of budget processes
  • Knowledge & experience of project cost tracking
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (15%)

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Strong Project Administrative skills.
  • Experience managing sub-project budgets greater than $100K with several team members
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and managerial skills including the ability to motivate others
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels and in diverse environments
  • Ability to Track Risk
  • Ability to manage communication based communication management plans
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to rapidly resolve issues and recognize when escalation is necessary
