Growing Healthcare company is seeking to add to their CDPAP Division at their Brooklyn location.

The Coordinator ensures that all enrolled consumers and Personal Assistants are serviced in line with the consumer's choice and authorization from the contract.

  • Must possess minimum 1-year experience in the Home Health Care industry or related fields
  • Must be bilingual in Russian
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a sociable personality
  • Must be capable of working well in a fast-paced and high stressed environment
  • Basic computer skills are required
  • Ability to understand, read, speak, and write English consistent with job requirements
  • Ability to communicate in Russian
  • The employee must be able to hear adequately with no more than an amplifier on the phone.
  • The employee must be able to interact effectively, calmly, and tactfully with other employees, clients and customers in person and on the phone including irate customers.
  • Must have good organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks.
  • The employee must have the ability to function effectively as a member of a team.
  • Sets up a Master Week in HHAE  of times the Consumer is approved to allow a PA to service them
  • Ensure smooth Consumer and PA admission to the program by following admission guidelines
  • Report any compliance related issues to CDPAP manager and Compliance Officer
  • Makes  necessary changes to schedule based on Consumer’s request and in line with Authorization
  • Obtains recurring authorizations from insurance companies
  • Properly inputs authorizations
  • Assures that authorization are correct
  • Exhibits excellent customer service, including answering all phone calls, emails, voice mails in a timely manner
  • Promotes positive co-worker relationships, teamwork, and cooperation
  • Notifies CDPAP Manager of change in Consumer or PA status including, but not limited to-Demographics, Hospitalization, Change in schedule, etc.
  • Assists in making reasonable accommodations for special groups, i.e. hearing, visual, physically, and/or mentally impaired
  • Provides backup for other Coordinators at the discretion of the CDPAP Manager
