IT Project Management Director
Oversee and lead all aspect of the IT Projects & Programs to successfully align with company initiatives.
  • Monitoring performance and recommending scope, schedule, cost or resource adjustments
  • Connecting short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment with the supporting business case.
  • Prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Communicating project status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to stakeholders in a timely, accurate, open and honest fashion.
  • Effectively balance competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk, to manage project success.
  • Negotiating with stakeholders to obtain the resources necessary for successful project execution.
  • Managing key performance indicators related to the project.
  • Escalating to IT leaders any risk related to projects.
  • Acting as liaison between IT & Business units  a champion, change agent, and IT-Business liaison.
  • 8+ years of Project Management experience in IT to large scale SAP environment
  • 5+ years managing a PMO, distribution background
  • Strong knowledge and solution architecture experience within SAP functional and technical areas.
  • Demonstrated track record of increased responsibilities that includes experience outside of project management.
  • Strong track record of delivering IT projects within established project constraints
  • Experience managing multiple upgrades, rollouts, and mergers/acquisitions
  • Experience in defining governance/project management processes, methods, standards, metrics, and measuring and communicating compliance
  • Ability to effectively interface with IT groups as well as business teams and executives
  • Skills include strong business acumen, future-thinking, strategic, accountable, collaborative, and proactive, all complementing strong tactical execution skills
  • Solid experience with project tools (i.e. MS Project), and methodologies (i.e waterfall, scrum/agile)
  • Ability to prep structure and scope a project and to manage a project through to completion
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, including large and complex programs as well as operational projects
  • Ability to proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues that sometimes cross departmental boundaries
  • Self-motivated with the ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Ability to achieve results through influence with People management skills and strong customer service orientation
