Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist/Part-time
Provides human resources & accounting support to maintain efficiency throughout the organization. Facilitates improvement and ensures proper processing as it relates to supporting efforts in recruiting, retaining, and benefits of personnel.
 
Ability to work 20-30 hours per week on-site.
 
Responsibilities
  • Advise on company policy and revise manuals as needed through collaboration with the management team
  • Maintain accurate and complete personnel files for all employees throughout the company, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Calculate variable compensation and forward to accounting.
  • Process all salary changes due to merit increases, promotions, or range adjustments.
  • Maintain the organization chart, update job requirements, job descriptions, and assessment requirements for all positions.
  • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews.
  • Administer benefits programs and coordinate/process annual enrollments
  • Onboard new employees and coordinate each new employee's Orientation and Onboarding schedule.
  • Process new hires in ADP and ensure all necessary forms and documents are completed and returned.
  • Administer the Wonderlic Technical Learning Assessment to evaluate candidates suitable for face-to-face interview
  • Maintain and review candidate offer letters
  • Assist in recruiting process and vendor relationships
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Associates degree in accounting/finance/business/administrative
  • 15-32 hours per week
  • 1-2 years of experience working with invoicing, account receivable and / or order processing
  • 1-2 + years working with financial statements
  • 3+ years in a customer focused role
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer skills: Word, intermediate Excel, QuickBooks and other order processing systems
