Pay Rate : $ 130,000.00 - 170,000.00 /Year
Our client, a global payments, firm is looking for an AML Officer. The AML Officer will provide expertise and advice to new product launches and business in international locations.
The AML Officer will:
  • Design and implement AML program for launching new/existing products in International markets
  • Develop, implement and maintain robust AML compliance programs to both protect and grow the business in the US and abroad.
  • Build tactical and scalable solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of customer diligence operations
  • Define and clearly communicate compliance requirements to internal and external stakeholders internationally and drive implementation of critical initiatives across internal teams
  • Own key results and communicate progress to all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish and manage policies and procedures to meet regulatory and audit standards internationally
  • Monitor regulatory/legal developments in different global markets, assess impacts and provide oversight to ensure they are effectively communicated across the Company
  • ​Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners (command respect of Product team, etc.)
  • 10+ years managing a BSA/AML program
  • Experience building and leading a team
  • Superb organization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A strong analytical and metrics driven approach to create substantiated solutions
  • Experience working closely with or in financial technology, payments, and/or money services businesses
  • Regulatory/financial services experience (preferably in compliance, risk management and/or audit); startup experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge in payment regulations and/or scheme rules
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively with different groups (i.e. product leaders, broader team, outside regulators and other third parties)
  • Global mindset; international experience or ability/flexibility/interest to work on international projects
  • Creative problem solving ability (i.e. launching new products in new markets will need some creativity) and decision making ability (sound judgement)
