Web Developer
This role works with Program Analysts and business stakeholders to design, develop, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot a wide variety of custom web applications for internal and external use.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom solutions, including the analysis, development, testing, implementation, and documentation for these solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications.
  • Create and maintain appropriate application documentation, including end-user and technical maintenance materials for custom applications.
  • Provide technical support for both IT staff members and 3rd level support to end users on custom applications.
  • Work with outside vendors for technical support to resolve complex problems.
  • Evaluate and recommend programmer productivity tools.
  • Act as liaison to technical user groups regarding information systems issues; represent the Web Services Group in seminars and workshops.
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and new technologies and recommend as necessary within the group.
  • Other duties as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • A strong understanding of the web and application development languages and tools which include: HTML, CSS, Javascript (Jquery, Underscore, Vue JS), .NET framework, VB.Net/C#.Net, SQL, and Responsive Framework – Bootstrap
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Stored Procedure programming and knowledge of Relational Database concepts
  • Source Control – VSS, TFS, Git
  • Experience creating and consuming web services
  • Software development life cycle
  • Technical documentation
  • Application integration
  • Coveo Admin / Development (creating indexes, custom connectors)
  • Mongo DB
  • Sitecore XDB, FXM, WFFM
  • TDS (Team Development for Sitecore)
