Bi-Lingual Relationship Manager

Job Purpose:
  • To process assigned syndicated and bilateral loan products related works and services. (Primary Focus: Chinese Corporate Clients)
  • To assist Dept Head, Deputy Head and other relationship managers in portfolio management, credit packages, and assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare credit proposals of syndicated and bilateral Corp loans, Loan secured by domestic branch (including English and Chinese) and support credit analysis for the customers' financial service needs. This includes managing customer databases and relevant documentation to facilitate accurate and efficient execution of loans.
  • Assist and attend business meetings, prepare meeting minutes, meeting agendas, and presentation materials for client.
  • Prepare monthly reports to H.O and/or relevant departments with all related business activity/volume required.
  • Obtain and input all KYC related information including perform annual review in surety from the customer. Set up customer ID.
  • Prepare required annual reviews and credit related reports on assigned accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal credit policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist in opening new accounts for clients and maintain necessary documents for all operations and maintain effective relationships with clients.
  • Maintain an updated deal information database and related reports.
  • Assist Dept Head and Deputy Head to arrange credit facility, participate in client meeting and prepare marketing materials for new clients and prospective clients.
  • Undertake any other relevant duties assigned by the Department Head from time to time.
  • Successfully complete required annual Branch BSA/AML training.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or other business related field.
  • Typically requires 2+ years relevant industry experience in a sales / customer relationship management role.
  • Bilingual Chinese-English is required.
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of corporate banking products and credit analysis.
