Our client is currently seeking Lead Developer.  The lead developer will be responsible for building and maintaining the most complex systems in the business.  The Lead Developer who has many years of experience building applications and is able to communicate clearly complex ideas to various audiences.  You should be a bright seasoned individual with a "get it done” mentality with a deep understanding and passion about technology.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with product technical leads to design new products or enhancements.  Take part in system development including analysis, coding, and testing.
  • Work with the business community to turn business requirements into cost-effective and elegant solutions. 
  • Performs design and code reviews with senior technical staff.
  • Act as the person everyone turns to resolve tough technical problems.
  • Help to evaluate from the technical perspective and implement 3rd party solutions in JLL environment.  This includes 3rd party applications along with development tools.
  • Help Development Manager to formulate group's technology vision and set/enforce technical standards for the team.
  • Take part in mentoring less senior team members.
  • 10+ years of experience
  • College-degree or equivalent.  Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
  • Technology:  Has strong experience with SQL server and all related technologies, .NET development (web and back-end, web services, etc.), networking and hardware fundamentals, and exposure to other platforms.  Candidate should be versed in diverse technologies.  SharePoint and mobile development expertise is a plus.
  • Must have at least 4 years' experience working with complex systems with thousands of users and complex business requirements in a technical leadership capacity.
  • Exceptional debugging skills and strong experience with performance tuning/optimization.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to effectively multitask.
  • Good estimation and project management skills.
  • Strong foundation in variety of development methodologies.
  • Ability to coach and define practices to make entire team improve.
