Business Analyst - Sharepoint

Job Summary This role will interact with clients to support business process analysis, needs assessments and recommendations for Microsoft SharePoint and Nintex solutions. The level of work required is considered intermediate. The individual must be able to work under general supervision. This is an individual-contributor role that does not have direct reports. Successful candidate will drive process improvement initiatives related to SharePoint and other assigned applications and platforms to enhance business processes and achieve greater efficiencies. Responsible for supporting analysis of business and user needs, documentation of business and technical requirements, and translation into proper design specifications. Will also proactively work with business units to define problems by studying current practices and applying established process improvement methodologies and implement solutions. Candidate will work and collaborate in a culture with Junior and Senior Engineers, customers and other functional areas.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Coursework in computer science, professional certification and related technology
• 3 to 7 plus years of direct work related experience Knowledge and Skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Self-motivated with excellent teamwork skills
• Demonstrates independent thinking and decision-making abilities
• Possesses and applies broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of the field of specialization to the completion of assignments


Responsibilities:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for supporting analysis of business and user needs, documentation of business and technical requirements, and translation into proper design specifications
• Applies ability to understand the gaps between the current and future desired state, and assist in the identification and development of solutions to close the gaps
• Communicates and collaborates on business process redesign for new or enhanced Microsoft SharePoint and Nintex usage
• Ensure proper documentation for requirements analysis, design specifications, custom training materials, or project work plans
• Drive process improvement initiatives related to SharePoint and other assigned applications and platforms to enhance business processes and achieve greater efficiencies
• Advocate and support end user adoption of application and platform features and processes, including developing training materials and conducting user trainings.
• Work closely with internal business units to facilitate project completion.
• Performs other duties as assigned
