SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER
A global organization is actively searching for a SharePoint Developer to join their local team.  The SharePoint Developer should be experienced with SharePoint 2013/2016 and must have strong back-end SQL skills to be successful in this role.  You will be an integral part in building, supporting and maintaining the Intranet SharePoint environment to help employees access information on demands or per subscription/notification.  You will utilize your SharePoint Search knowledge to plan and implement a search architecture that continues to improve the process to find what is needed as quickly and efficiently as possible. The SharePoint Developer will play a key role in the application development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, patching and documentation.  Excellent communication skills are required.
 
Requirements
May analyze, design, configure, develop and implement intermediate-level SharePoint solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
Ensure that our SharePoint environment is properly updated with security patches without impacting usability; he/she will be instrumental in working through unintended impacts to provide the best user experience.
Leverage SharePoint technology for an optimized, secure user experience
Architect, design and develop applications that extend the Microsoft SharePoint 2013/2016 platform through the use of a rapid development platform that replaces SharePoint InfoPath. 
Plan and leverage the latest SharePoint 2013/2016 social computing and collaboration features to maximize the capture and share of knowledge and expertise within the organization.
Leverage best practices and be sure these practices are optimized, documented and consistently used throughout SharePoint projects and operational functions.
May work with business owners, DBA(s) and vendors to create integrations both to/from vendors.
Provides intermediate Level 3 support.  Investigates operational or systematic problems and provides resolution using intermediate analytical skills and tools as necessary.
Prepares project proposals and develops project plans. May lead small projects.
Maintains up-to-date awareness of current and future directions of business industry and associated technologies.
Investigates and documents present procedures as liaison with user departments.
Contribute to the Firm's governance plan through helping to further define and refine a set of policies, roles, responsibilities and processes
Apply best practices in information architecture, content and metadata management to avoid any inefficiency.
May develop and maintain application security, design and documentation according to legal compliance requirements.
 
Requirements:
5+ years as a SharePoint Developer in a professional environment
Experience working with SharePoint 2013/2016
Strong SQL skills required
Must understand Microsoft Windows Operating system architecture
Must have experience the Microsoft Visual Studio and VSTS
SharePoint third party tools (Handshake, ShareGate, Harepoint/Metalogix etc.,)
MVC Framework, Entity Framework
Must have experience working with SharePoint (on premise) server architecture, experience working with SharePoint farm 
Must understand SharePoint search architecture, have experience with search administration (managing index, crawling, relevance and maintaining search topology) 
Must have experience of understanding and working on cumulative updates
Understanding of SharePoint Online is a plus
Understanding of K2 rapid development tools or other workflow tool knowledge and experience a plus)
Ability to participate in all aspects of application SDLC including Agile methodologies
Must participate in daily team scrums and code reviews
