Cloud Technical Writer

Seeking an experienced Technical Writer for our client's cloud migration and engineering projects . The ideal Technical Writer should be energetic and self-motivated and able to create technical documentation independently with guidance from engineering and architecture teams. The Technical Writer must have excellent writing skills and ideally experience writing for cloud projects. The Technical Writer also must have the ability to build basic process flows and supporting documentation. 

Writes, edits and packages a variety of technical documents, in the cloud space.
Translate technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise documents appropriate for various target audiences
Interviews subject matter experts and technical staff to collect information, prepare written text, and coordinate layout and material organization
Researches information such as drawings, design reports, equipment and test specifications to fill any gaps
Reviews, critiques, and edits documentation including design documents, programmer notes and system overviews
Relies on knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals.
Configuration and Content Managers based on old materials obtained by the prior vendor and information provided by the development team on new functionality and traits of the system.
The end result will be used by both business and technical support teams and will the initial phase to which all future enhancements and changes will be noted.

Must have strong organizational and project management skills and excellent writing and editing skills
Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures
Work independently but will receive a moderate level of guidance and direction

Bachelors degree
4+ years of professional Technical Writing experience.
Experience creating Technical documentation independently 
Design skills – example is to design a flowchart (process, swimlane, workflow, dataflow), network diagrams, topology diagram, and etc.

Excellent verbal communication skills are required
