Telecom Analyst
Telecom Analyst will be responsible for the installation, design, maintenance of the our growing voice telecommunication network infrastructure. On the IT Infrastructure team will be a critical part in leading the support for the infrastructure along with the growth business objectives and defined SLAs.

Looking for a very wide experience within telecommunications with traditional voice systems, contact centers, ordering.

  • Ensure that the values, objectives and quality standards of the Company are achieved/met.
  • Monitor network deployments to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Assist in the design of a voice and data network that can support thousands of geographically dispersed users with minimal interruptions and maximum fault tolerance
  • Provide deep (Tier-3+) resolution for complex voice issues. Act as a liaison between the business and outside vendors to ensure proper resolution.
  • Ability to orchestrate mass network changes through a combination of industry tools and scripting.
  • Work within a change control environment to effectively communicate, document, and implement change.
  • Build runbooks for various phones and PBX devices to allow for effective Service Desk and "remote-hands” troubleshooting
  • Architect monitoring solution to allow for rapid response to voice and network issues from both vendors and internal resources.
  • Solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP models.
  • Deep understanding of traditional analog voice systems and modern cloud-based PBXs.
  • Understanding of SIP and RTP protocols.
  • Thorough understanding of call routing and queuing in a call center.
  • Must understand basics of circuit ordering and installation from various third party telecom vendors.
  • 6-8 years related work experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Experience maintaining an 8x8 or similar cloud PBX solution highly preferred.
  • Experience with overhead paging systems and analog to SIP integrations preferred.
  • ITILv3 Certification or experience working in an ITIL environment preferrred.
  • Previous work experience maintaining a distributed call center environment with high uptime requirements highly preferred.
  • Previous experience ordering voice and
  • Background in accounting and IT Operating Expense management highly preferred.
