Seeking an experienced Network Compliance Engineer to join an established Network Operations team with a global financial institution.  As the Network Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for bringing and maintaining the network systems within the required compliance level for the organization. The ideal Network Compliance Engineer will have a solid technical background within networks as well as compliance and have an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills.
Uses efficient methods to produce regular reports communicating the status of the compliance level of network system configurations
Acts as the Security Liaison – Facilitates collaboration between Information Security and Network Engineering to help enforce security requirements on the global network ecosystem
Conduct configuration assessment and issue guidelines on network system configurations to align with the relevant regulatory framework set by Information Security
Documentation and Guidelines
Organizes and updates departmental documentation providing clear configuration templates for various network systems
Works well with teammates locally and at remote offices; shares knowledge and is seen as someone to go to for help; contributes in weekly peer meetings
Demonstrates a sense of urgency; takes ownership of problems and follows temporary fixes with permanent solution; finds creative solutions
Communication is clear and accurate verbally and written; listens to peers and supports employees; follows directions and provides useful feedback
Makes a positive impression in person, via phone, and electronically; models a 'can-do' attitude; embraces additional responsibility
University degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or related discipline
3+ years working within a Network Compliance and/or Network Security role
Experience with Regulatory Compliance
Some experience in programming (bash, python, javascript, etc.)
Some experience in Network Automation tools
Advanced technical writing and/or communication education and experience
Documenting and effectively publishing technology guidelines
Championing best practices in network security and compliance
Experience in an exchange, trading facility, or financial services is desired but not required.
Mentoring peers in groups and individually
Improving processes and introducing superior technology
Taking initiative to learn business goals, liaise with other departments, and identify ways to increase productivity in other groups and offices
Hands-on experience with Systems Administration and/or IP Networking (Juniper, Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Cisco, Arista)
Excel, Workflow automation tools, NIST Cyber Security Framework, CIS, Tufin, Ansible
