Job Summary
The HR Business Partner will work to align business objectives and goals with management and employees within an assigned geographical region.  This position is accountable for all HR activities and serves as a consultant to management on human resource related issues. This position may include international human resource responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Overall point person for day-to-day support/guidance on staffing needs/recruitment, employee relations/performance management, benefits and wellness, and compensation in an assigned geographical region.
  • Under the direction of the Sr. HRBP, provides day to day performance management guidance- (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Full cycle recruitment to include requisitioning, development/update job description, sourcing and screening candidates, preparing manager for interviews, negotiation and presenting offer.
  • Provides HR policy and benefit guidance and interpretation.
  • Run and maintain reports for offices as needed in regards to compensation, headcount, open positions, etc.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and help facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • In conjunction with Sr. HRBP, assist with diversity recruitment efforts.
  • In conjunction with the Sr. HRBP, coordinate and manage leave of absences.
  • Manage and track employee actions, status changes, terminations, life event changes, etc.
  • Manage other HR projects as assigned.
Experience Required
  • Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines (ie employee relations, recruitment, diversity, performance management, compensation, benefits - 401(k) plan, FMLA & ADA, disability programs, COBRA, FSA, HSA - and federal and state employment laws).
  • A broad understanding of benefits plans, retirement, and leave of absence programs.
  • Must have experience with applicant tracking and HRIS systems. Workday is a plus.
  • International HR experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or relevant degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional designation such as PHR, SPHR is preferred.
Computer Skills
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Applicant Tracking System and HRIS experience.
  • Experience with Workday a plus.
  • Office – work with computers, copiers, and scanners.
