Large International Not-for-Profit organization is seeking to add an Administrative Assistant to their team.

Essential Responsibilities And Duties
  • Assist the Senior Vice President in planning, developing and executing special events.
  • Track and record travel information for participants in Microsoft Excel and be proactive in obtaining missing material.
  • Proofread documents, draft other department correspondence such as program notices, thank you notes, etc.
  • Work closely with Senior Vice President and department members on governance-related projects (e.g., meeting transcription and minutes for the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Nominating Committee.)
  • Maintain and distribute monthly calendar of events.
  • Participate in special projects, as assigned.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work, as needed.
Skills And Abilities Required
  • One to two years of full-time administrative work experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven office.
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills, including strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Personable team player with the ability to be flexible and work well in a highly collaborative team.
  • Deadline-and detail-oriented administrator with strong organizational skills.
  • Multi-task oriented. Demonstrates efficient time management skills and the ability to prioritize a heavy workload.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and database management.
