We are working with a growing firm looking for an IT Support person for their team in the west suburbs. The candidate will be responsible for answering Help Desk tickets & calls in a timely manner and troubleshoot to resolve various systems issues along with their leading tracking platform. This is an exciting opportunity to have a visible and a critical role to the product growth and on-going development.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide end user support by answering and completing tickets and meeting SLA's
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, resolve, track, escalate and accurately document various technical problems
  • Provide support for company applications and technology assets.
  • Work with support and cross functional teams to ensure requirements and product
  • Develop, maintain, and implement a desktop maintenance plan.
  • Recommend, schedule and perform network, desktop and server upgrades, improvements and repairs.
  • Assess, debug and resolve hardware/technical problems associated with desktops, servers and critical systems.
 
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in a IT Support / Helpdesk type position
  • Experience & understanding in telematics/GPS tracking industry or software product preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Support ticketing systems & Troubleshooting protocols
  • Technical aptitude with strong PC literacy skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures; attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial type mind set
  • Self-motivation and organization
