Seeking an experienced IT Process Engineer to join a national consumer services organization.  The IT Process Engineer will be an integral member of the Quality Team and will be responsible for driving major IT process improvement initiatives to improve quality for Service Managers by standardizing processes and improve overall customer experience.  The IT Process Engineer is responsible for executing continuous improvement projects covering technology enablement, process improvement and change management to improve efficiency, effectiveness and integration across the Enterprise IT. You will support the Quality Director through the proactive identification of project opportunities, designing solution approaches and plans, and implementing plans.
Lead Kaizen events – Facilitate cross-functional groups in discussion & documentation of IT  processes, pain points, and potential solutions; Help define future state processes and management metrics.
Develop detailed IT process maps – Document as-is and to-be IT process steps and owners, work flow, potential failure modes, business controls and metrics.
Perform data mining and analysis – Access data from computer systems and perform analysis to determine root cause of process failures and develop recommendations for process improvements.
Develop implementation plans – Develop plans for full implementation of process changes across the business including management controls & data reporting.
Lead cross functional teams on project planning, implementation and milestone tracking; Provide ongoing status reports to Executive management.
Constantly challenge existing processes for possibility of improvement and standardization
Implementation of Process Performance Metrics standardization
Lead Training – Define and lead training around new processes, Risk assessment and Root cause analysis
Bachelor's degree
3+ years experience in an IT Process Engineer/improvement role
Certified Lean Six Sigma belt, or willingness to take training & become certified
Ability to influence others and lead implementation of change without direct authority
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Ability to analyze complex data sets and develop recommendations for process improvements
Ability to develop high-level business process maps
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic project management skills
Demonstrated use of Lean & Six Sigma tools such as process flow mapping, root cause analysis, statistical process control, FMEAs, standardized work flow, management control systems, design of experiments, etc.
