HRIS Analyst-Temp

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the primary HR department interface for the HRIS systems; troubleshoots HRIS application problems, monitors workflows, and serves as a initial resource for any questions regarding the systems.
  • Inputs data into the HRIS systems for employee transaction changes including new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, pay rate changes, etc. Evaluates and approves submitted workflows to ensure integrity of people data. Supports HR filing and personnel file maintenance.
  • Serves as an active participant in the semi-monthly payroll process; reviews various payroll reports, checks calculations and works in cooperation with Accounting throughout the entire process.
  • Ensures that systems are updated due to changes in benefit or pay practices. Monitors and maintains interfaces with benefit providers. Documents and maintains thorough HRIS end-user processes and procedures.
  • Serves as the primary contact for HRIS reports; prepares reports for management and any departments that need HR information; monitors automated reports (i.e. monthly and quarterly headcounts, performance management system auto-feed); assists the HR department with preparing reports and metrics.
  • Maintains company organization charts.
  • Processes benefits changes and provides participant information to vendors. Processes monthly benefit provider invoices and premium payments.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a business related discipline.
  • At least three years of Human Resources experience with some prior experience in HRIS.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility, enrollment rules and benefit procedures.
  • Previous experience with HRIS systems required; UltiPro, UltiPro Time Management experience strongly preferred.
  • Must demonstrate a willingness to accomplish all tasks assigned in a positive and timely manner. 
  • Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data.
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create a variety of formulas.
  • Must have strong computer skills in other Microsoft applications such as Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Org. Plus software preferred.
