An established global investment management firm is actively searching for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in fincancial reporting systems to add to their Project Management team. The Project Manager – Financial Reporting must have a heavy reporting systems background and any experience supporting trading systems is desired. The ideal Project Manager must have good Business Analyst skills as well as part of your role will be to work with the internal and vendor technical teams and the portfolio advisors. Excellent communication skills are required.

Work with business partners and the technology team to define and implement enhancements to the platforms used by the Private Wealth Management (PWM) department
Lead PWM reporting and trading system implementation and conversion efforts
Optimize workflows and provide efficiency and scalability consulting for PWM
Prepare project plans and manage resources while documenting business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, workflow, and data requirements.
Coordinate development and implementation efforts with internal IT resources and/or external vendors.
Act as a business analyst, supporting the business process and ensuring processes are followed related to the use of technology initiatives.
Review status and issues with senior management and provide technical assistance for business users and management.
Identify best practices being used and encourage adoption of the trading system

Bachelor's Degree is required
7+ years of experience as a Project Manager/Business Analyst
Demonstrated project management experience leading technology projects, specifically around financial reporting
Experience working directly with senior investment professionals and technology vendors
Financial services / trading industry experience is required
Experience working with retail investment advisors is desired
Experience with NFS (Wealthscape), Tamaracm, Eagle and/or Advent/Axys highly valued
Experience with Excel required
Understanding of wealth management operations
Ability to document functional requirements based on summary of interviews with business owners
Cross functional project coordination
