Robotic Process Automation System Administrator
Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree MIS, Computer Sciences, Business or related degree and five (5) years of relevant experience preferably in systems or application administration
  • Experience and passion for IIS, Apache, Windows Server, Certificate Management and load balancing
  • Experience in following highly preferred:
  1. Robotic Process Automation Tools – UiPath / Automation Anywhere
  2. Web Hosting
  3. PowerShell Scripting
  4. Dev Ops tools and practices
  5. Octopus Deploy
  6. Java/.Net, HTML and CSS Experience
  7. Monitoring tools to ensure required availability of assigned systems.
  8. Active Directory and DNS.
  9. Application Performance Monitoring tools
  10. SQL 2016
  11. Elastic Search
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design, testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations
  • Performs implementations and upgrades in compliance with security guidelines.
  • Ensures availability, security and integrity of assigned systems.
  • Setting alerts to maintain the stability of the environment and monitoring error logs. Troubleshoots or escalates issues as needed.
  • Evaluates and identifies ways to automate, streamline, and improve day-to-day maintenance and administrative practices.
  • Installs or coordinates installation of patches and releases on development, test, stage, production and disaster recovery systems.
  • Ensures adherence to Service Level Agreements regarding application availability.
  • Serves as central point of contact and as a liaison to other IT departments and vendors regarding installations, server maintenance, licensing and upgrade issues.
  • Effectively manages communication between end users, vendors, and IT departments to solve environment problems quickly.
  • Creates and maintains accurate system run book for assigned systems.
  • Maintains current description and documentation of application configuration, including tracking and documenting any changes to environments.
  • Assists in capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning on assigned systems.
  • Participates in business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including assisting with fault tolerance and disaster recovery plans.
  • Participates in project meetings supporting business objectives.
  • Respond to alerts and staff coordination emergencies if needed on a 24/7 on-call basis
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration and/or Continuous Delivery principles and tools
  • Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English
  • Ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals
  • Working ability to remain effective under stress, and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease.
  • Demonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions
