Position Overview:
  • Work across one or more programs or projects to ensure technical excellence for the consumer-facing experience/website and be the lead in guiding the evolution of the system's architecture.
  • Lead a team of 5-10 mobile developers (iOS, Android and Xamarin focused)
  • Help to design, code, and test technical solutions, including unit testing and participate in creating clear visions and technical road maps for projects and deliverables.
  • Recognize and effectively communicate risks to project timelines and estimate development effort to deliver.

Position Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the software or website development industry
  • Experience with the ongoing operation, maintenance and evolution of a large consumer-facing website
  • Mobile development (Xamarin, Titanium, mobile web and application development)
  • E-commerce or other monetization technology integration (experience with Insite a plus)
  • 5+ years of experience with any of the following programming languages: programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#, PHP, Objective-C, Python, Ruby, etc.) and the frameworks within those programming languages (jQuery, MooTools, Spring, Hibernate, GWT, Sling, Jackrabbit, etc.)
  • Integration tools & techniques (ESBs, Orchestration, SOA, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, etc.)
  • Rich internet development (AJAX, Flash, Flex, Silverlight)
  • Experience working with enterprise level content management and/or collaboration tools such as: Adobe CQ/Adobe CQ5, SharePoint, or Jive.
  • Experience with browser performance testing and/or load testing
  • Experience with MSSQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, NIX, Windows, and Mac OSs
  • Experience with Hosting/Cloud /SaaS offerings.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability able to explain complex technical situations to non-technical co-workers and key business stakeholders.
  • Must have a solution-oriented mindset and believe in the creative use of technology and alternative approaches.
  • Must have an appreciation of high quality visual design, marketing strategy, business strategy, and user experience disciplines.
