Senior Conflicts Analyst

ICS is currently looking for an Allstar for a Senior Conflicts Analyst professional position in the Conflicts Services Department reporting to the Director of Conflicts and Business Intake Services. We are seeking a flexible, articulate, and self-directed individual to join an experienced team. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with identification of potential conflicts for lateral hires, including searching of conflicts services internal and commercial databases
  • Review, analyze, and summarize lateral hire conflict of interest reports
  • Responsible for seeking additional information from attorneys to determine potential conflicts and tracking the progress of conflicts resolution
  • Maintain the ethical wall system
  • Some supervisory responsibility for conflicts analysts
  • Assist with new business searches and other duties as needed
 
PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
  • At least three to five years of conflicts of interest experience in a large law firm setting performing legal research and corporate affiliation research, using internal conflicts database software, preferably LegalKEY, and ethical wall system, preferably Wall Builder
  • Professional demeanor with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with candidates, attorneys, management, and staff
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multitask, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high-level work product
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Juris Doctorate preferred
