We are looking for a Network Engineering Team Lead - Americas to provide technical network engineering and management skills spanning day to day operations, project, stakeholder relationship and people management.
This role provides technical network engineering and management skills spanning team, project, stakeholder relationship and people management. As a member of a team of 5 globally distributed Leads, you will lead a team of 5 locally based network engineers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Technical and process consultancy
  • Support career development of direct reports, complete performance appraisals and provide development opportunities 
  • Support the creation and management of personal scorecards by direct reports
  • Manage volume and type of work for direct reports to ensure appropriateness
  • Manage performance, timesheets and leave requests
  • Assists Global Team Lead with rostering to meet business needs and operational 24x7 support roster requirements functional management
Technical competencies should include:
  • Solid understanding of IP networking and Internet technologies in either Cisco or Aruba switch & routing platforms. CCNP or CCIE would be an advantage.
  • Solid experience in more than one network / network security platforms:
    • Wireless (Cisco or Aruba)
    • ACI
    • F5
    • Cisco Ironport Web Proxies
    • NSX
  • Strong network analytical and troubleshooting skills with the capability to handle and own critical issues through to resolution
  • Prior exposure to a global enterprise environment across multiple time-zones is desired
  • Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows, SNMP, Microsoft Active Directory is desired
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and when faced with adversity or urgent issues
  • Customer-focused with a "service first” mentality and best-in-class communication skills
  • Ability to view current processes and procedures as opportunities for enhancement, tuning and improvement
