Position Overview
The Social Measurement Product Manager will be in-charge of integrations with the largest social platforms in the world and develop new functionality and services that expand the capabilities and coverage of measurement solutions. The ideal candidate will have product management expertise in ad tech and specifically with social media platforms and will possess excellent client management, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills. This role is hands-on product management as a part of a cross functional team driven to create products that will standardize the advertising industry.
Being able to thoroughly understand how ad buying strategies and ad optimization works on different social platforms and translate that knowledge into new product features is a critical part of this role. Performing market research, collecting requirements, and working closely with engineers to plan and deliver products are all key responsibilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must as the position interfaces heavily at all levels and across functions both inside and with our external partners and a carries high level of visibility.
Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate buying patterns on social platforms, collect customer feedback, and develop new measurement metrics to support client optimization goals.
  • Coordinate with integration partners to develop and deploy product offerings on each platform.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the Sales Operations team, advising on best practices and product capabilities.
  • Articulate the product and value proposition to Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations.
  • Create product documentation for internal teams and external customers.
  • Own product development from concept to release for social platform integrations.
  • Break down product vision into epics and user stories for development.
  • Manage data quality efforts to ensure integration measurements are accurate and reported effectively.
  • Lead QA efforts with development teams for high-quality and timely product delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the online advertising ecosystem, specifically on social platforms.
  • 2+ years as a Product Manager in the Ad Tech or digital media industry. Previous experience working at, working with, or buying media on social platforms required.
  • Excellent data analytics skills, including the ability to work with large data sets and find unique insights.
  • Experience working with engineering teams on a daily basis.
  • Experience working with and supporting client services teams.
  • Organized with a rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive "can-do” approach.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Passion and desire to play a key role in driving a new business to success in the advertising technology space.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of IAB viewability standards and measurement techniques for viewability.
  • Experience collaborating with external partners.
  • Experience with data collection, reporting, or analytics systems.
  • Familiarity with the ETL processing a plus.
  • Experience working with APIs or SQL skills a plus.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
