Workforce Sourcing Coordinator

The Contingent Workforce Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for maximizing the value of contingent workforce and protects the brand through a single point of access for external workforce needs. The Contingent Workforce Sourcing Coordinator vision is to be regarded as subject matter experts in the area of external workforce compliance and utilization strategies.

Objectives are to:
  • Strengthen internal controls and safeguard the clients brand image by ensuring compliance to corporate policies.
  • Provide adaptive capacity while improving the quality of services through utilization of our preferred providers and effective governance of our entire external workforce supplier community.
  • Solve business problems by partnering with our customers, internal partner organizations (HR partners, department leadership, etc.) and suppliers to proactively develop solutions.
  • Exceed customer expectations through process standardization, measurement and continuous improvement.
Position Purpose:
Supports the Contingent Workforce Program Manager to ensure that external staffing needs are met by leveraging preferred staffing vendors who provide high-quality resources in a cost effective and timely manner.
Communicates engagement processes and policies related to external workforce engagements to internal business clients and suppliers
 Key customers include corporate and U.S. hiring managers and leadership throughout the organization.

Strategy:
Builds relationships with key customer groups by fulfilling external staff augmentation needs and satisfying requests in accordance with established service levels
Partners with staffing vendors to drive high-quality, cost-effective resource fulfillment within established service levels.
 
 
Consulting:
  • Assists client departments with identifying external workforce needs and communicates engagement process to hiring managers.
  • Screens potential external worker candidates to ensure the best qualified candidates are presented to the client.
  • Oversees the on-boarding/off-boarding of consultants/temps to ensure a seamless transition
  • Engages business functions to ensure external workforce strategies and initiatives are supported and executed effectively.
  • Analyzes and negotiates external workforce pay and bill rates to ensure alignment with contractual obligations
  • Escalates to the Contingent Workforce Program Manager when appropriate to resolve issues, facilitate decision-making or remove obstacles
Operations:
  • Runs monthly staff augmentation reports from the vendor management system and takes action as needed
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
  • Participates in special projects, as required.
 
Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Partners with external workforce suppliers (offshore and onshore) to discuss requisitions, candidate pool qualification, and selection/rejection of candidates.
  • Maintains day-to-day relationships with external workforce suppliers to manage current on-boarded consultant/temp management and hold vendors accountable to established agreements and deliverables.
 
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in HR, contingent staffing, or sourcing
  • Experience in a large corporate environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Executes for results; specifically, advanced organizational skills including time management and ability to prioritize
  • Works collaboratively in team settings
