Our client is a mid-sized international Financial services institution that is seeking an enhancement manger to join their Service now, Center of Excellence team based out of midtown, walking distance from Grand Central.

This release manager will serve as a BA/PM for the bi-weekly releases of their service now platform. The overall goal of this role is to stabilize their platform as consolidate and enhance their environment.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for gathering and refining business requirements of Securities and Bank ServiceNow enhancements and defects
  • Manage bi-monthly releases for ServiceNow platform based on estimated effort and priority of each request
  • Communicating/reporting to stakeholders regarding platform releases
  • Project manager/lead of all platform upgrades, including integration testing, Q/A, and managing communications
  • Owning platform change management processes
  • Leading scrum and release calls with development teams/stakeholders
  • Serve as project manager for global projects impacting both Securities and Bank
  • Overseeing entity level projects and communicating strategy and/or risks to Center of Excellence manager and lead
  • Owning relationships between external and internal development teams
  • Assisting with platform incident management as needed
  • Managing relationships with platform stakeholders across Bank and Securities
  • Assisting with platform roadmap development and communication strategies
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in IT or equivalent
  • 5-7 years' work experience with IT
  • Experience working ServiceNow
  • ITIL certified
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
