Seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect for a global legal organization.  The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's global enterprise. This position will assist in developing, maintaining and managing the corporation's security environment. The Security Architect must be able to recommend ways to improve upon identified weak points via policies, procedures, technologies, address various audit related requirements, and assist with configuring and maintaining company owned security technologies.  Excellent communication skills are required as this is a highly visible role within the organization.
Work with senior management, business development to scope and prioritize information security initiatives aligned with company goals and objectives
Provide guidance in the definition, provisioning and improvement of measurements on Information Security services including the use of appropriate applications and tools for reporting.
Collaborate, maintain and build relationships across numerous infrastructure partners, teams and clients.
When implementing new security technology, the Security Architect will be responsible for managing all stages of the technology development lifecycle including determination of security requirements, leading proof-of-concepts, implementation, testing, and documentation.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert on all things Information Security and provide mentorship and training on various areas
Lead the security architecture practice to help provide guidance and requirements in Information Systems solutions including participating in security architecture reviews
Lead efforts and participate in audits covering information security services and technologies.
Keep up-to-date with guidance, best practices, trends and developments in information security
10+ years of experience in Information Technology operational and/or engineering roles
5+ years of experience in IT security, compliance, or risk management developing and deploying security technologies, policies, standards and procedures
Understanding aligning projects to business priorities
Advanced Endpoint Security (Carbon Black, Crowdstrike)
Signature-based antivirus (endpoint, server, storage, email)
Application Whitelisting (Carbon Black Protection formerly Bit9)
SIEM (LogRhythm)
Firewall (Cisco ASA)
IPS/IDS (McAfee)
Threat Client Platform (Anomali)
Privileged Access Management (Hitachi)
Vulnerability Management (Rapid7 Nexpose/Metasploit)
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Bachelor's degree or better in Cyber Security, Information Systems Auditing, or any other security-related subject is preferred
CISSP and/or CISM and a technically focused certification is preferred
