Manager, PC Management

Pay Rate : $ 75,000.00 - 85,000.00 /Year
Strategy:
  • Follow and understand industry trends and technology advancements
  • Research and develop knowledge of current and emerging industry technologies
  • Implement these new technologies as deemed appropriate
Project Management:
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
  • Lead, plan, and manage PC Management related projects
  • Provide subject matter expertise on projects in area of specialty
Operations:
  • Provides leadership and direction for staff under his/her supervision
  • Oversee and administer all aspects of SCCM. Design and manage the deployment of desktop systems, applications, and patches
  • Prepare and lead IT Infrastructure & PC Management upgrade initiatives
  • Manage client performance and security, including upgrades, as necessary
  • Communicate and coordinate PC Management initiatives to IT staff and employees
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support as required for all network and technical issues relating to client system management/administration
  • Sets policies and procedures for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining client system equipment and software.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party support partners and effectively communicate support issues between and partners.
  • Manage IT hardware and software standards
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all client system equipment
  • Manage client system software and OS license compliance
  • Develop and present analysis and cost/benefit strategies to VP of IT Infrastructure

Education and/or Experience:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Networking, or business preferred or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in supporting/troubleshooting hardware/network and infrastructure equipment, systems and software. Working knowledge of client system technology including hardware, client software, and OS.

Knowledgeable regarding current available technology solutions and proficient in Microsoft applications; working knowledge of PC system Management and administration, hardware, and software utilized throughout company. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently required. Effective communication skills also required.

Travel Required: Must be flexible for extensive travel associated with PC upgrades and installations – up to 30% travel required.
