Our client, a private investment firm is currently seeking a temp to perm Administrative Assistant to work in their New York City headquarters. The successful Administrative Assistant must have strong experience using Microsoft Outlook.
Administrative Assistant Job Description
  • Manage team calendar and phones
  • Manage Investor Services inbox
  • Responding to basic investor requests
  • Assisting investors with basic computer issues/ navigating the portal questions
  • Scheduling, coordinating and setup for all Investor Services meetings
  • Assist with CRM updates
  • Scanning and saving down to team drive
  • Ad hoc project work
Administrative Assistant Qualifications
  • Candidate must have superior communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1 to 3 years of work experience
  • Strong proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel (experience with a CRM system a plus)
  • Superior organizational skills and effective at prioritizing and handling a heavy workload; not easily intimidated or flustered by multiple, concurrent tasks
  • Must be mature with a professional demeanor and able to exercise good judgment/common sense.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high energy environment; extremely quick learner and adaptable
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Proactive with a positive attitude; strives to improve process and create efficiencies
