General Summary:
The Corporate Recruiter manages the day to day operations of the full cycle recruitment for all departments within this Chicagoland area catering group. The Recruiter will partner with managers of all levels to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the company to deliver the best talent into the company. The Recruiter is responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for Catering, Dining Services, Management and Enterprise positions throughout the company. This person must possess a high level of skill in interviewing techniques, a working knowledge of all clerical and specialized company functions, an understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy, procedures and federal, state and local laws regarding employment practices. The Recruiter must be a diligent individual that consistently strives for hiring and retaining top talent within the company. They must represent our culture, vision and values and instill those in all hiring practices.
Fully supports the implementation of 2017 HR initiatives: Achieve a Culture of Greatness, Standardize all HR Processes and Documents, Strengthen the Organizational Structure and Become the Employer of Choice in the Food and Hospitality Industry.

Essential Duties:
· Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-unti organization
· Partner with key management to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives
· Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels (salary and hourly). Create and implement Employment Marketing Strategies to attract top talent
· Work with key management to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
· Ensure that all job descriptions are compliant and up to date
· Develop strong relationships and work closely with key managers
· Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity and resources
· Provide regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
· Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects
· Develop and implement search strategy that includes vendor selection process and performance metrics for all searches. Develop and maintain career opportunities section on Food for Thought's career page
· Reduce dependency on external staffing agencies
· Develop and execute an annual recruiting calendar that includes but is not limited to networking events, job fairs, and campus engagement activities
· Other HR duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes
  • Must have experience on mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources
  • "Hunter” mentality and the ability to think outside of the box
  • Effective organizational, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills including written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive when faced with a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Team player, ready and willing to assist in departmental projects and emergencies
  • Ability to identify and recruit top talent
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Demonstrated the ability to self-lead
Education/ experience:
· At least 3 years' experience in a high-volume recruitment role with proven results
· Previous Multi-unit and Food Service experience is a plus
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience required. Human Resources degree preferred
· HR certification preferred
· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and familiarity with recruiting software
· Fluency in Spanish is a plus
